Reflection 3

What? This week the i learned how to do podcasts. I had heard of them but didn't really know how to make them and it was really cool to acutally have the experience in making a podcast.

So What? For me this means great things as a student and future teacher. I know that right now while i am learning to be a teacher i can take this tool that i have learned and incooperate it into my lesson plans as well as presentations. I think that for me and my colleagues this will be a fun thing to continue to use and help each other become better aquainted with how podcasts really work and can make learning fun.

Now What? Now with this information that i have learned i can take it into the classroom with me and show my colleagues how wonderful this tool really is. This tool can help my students with outside of school assignments. I can record myself saying what they need to do, so that if they can't read and are better listeners than readers they can hear what i am telling them to do. With this they will be able to hear me and then replay what i am saying as many times needed. I really like podcasts they are great and i can't wait to use them.

Relfection 2

What? This week i learned how to use "sites, " and with it we are making a classroom website. We are also doing the first step in out digital stories. My partner and i chose a objective and a standard, then went and found websites that went along with our topic.

So What? This new technology that i am learning is wonderful! To be able to create a digital story would be so fun to show my students. It would be a new fun way of teaching. The classroom site will be perfect for me as a teacher. I will be able to make the site and have it go along with my class and what we will be doing. The parents can check it and know what homework or projects their kids might have.

Now What? With all that i am learning i am excited to keep learning new things that i will help me be a better teacher. I think this info that i am learning will be really fun for me to take to my class as well as to my colleagues. I think it is always good to have new ideas from other people, so i hope i can show them what i have learned, and they can show me some things that they have learned as well. I am not the best technology person but i am excited to keep learning and do my best to use it in my classroom.
